Today was an overall upsetting day.
It comprised the following:

* Mr. Donovan's flying-spittle-screaming-ten-minute-rage-fest-in-which-the-entire-school-was-attacked-for-what-two-people-did-also-involving-stripping-privileges-and-unbridled-angst-over-our-perhaps-newly-decreased-Newsweek-high-school-top-ranking-type speech.
* A mandatory for Seniors blood drive speech, complete with cheesy movie from the 80s during what could have been a productive free period.
(1) Episode of CSI
* Picture a bloody, mangled body covered in bruises and blood and white, slimy larvae climbing out of various orifices at 7:30 AM.
(1) Mixed-up, switched-up schedule
(1) Humid, muggy, miserable Hump Day
* Feelings of general angst, remorse, and anger rippling through the student body all day.
* Stories of getting detentions for walking the hallways without a pass.
* Stories of getting more than one detention in one go for walking the hallways without a pass.
(2) Unproductive club meetings
If I have any luck to speak of, no more fire alarms will be pulled in the next two days, permitting me to go on the Art History field trip tomorrow and the Gov field trip on Friday.
