My brain is currently throbbing from bashing itself against my skull so many times. The English sections were all right, good even, fabulous even, my essay was AWWWESOME. But math? I'm probably lucky if I get 50% of those questions right. Math in standardized test form (nevermind just everyday-like) is like a CONCUSSION. Kuawwah!
But on to happier things.
I had blood oranges for the first time today.
They're like clementines, except the segments inside are the deep red-purple of a pomegranate. And then when you unpeel it, the crimson juice drips down your fingers, and you pop one into your mouth, and for a second it's sweet, but then there's this EXPLOSION of tangy-ness like nothing else. And you keep having more and more and they're like candy, but with this passion and intensity, and then your tongue turns bright red.
There has never before been a fruit this sexy.
