It was like any other day. And then it wasn't.

Ophilia was better than she had been. She was getting back into what she had always known as herself. It helped that there was suddenly a good deal of cleaning to do. She hadn't realized how messy she could be when going through cocaine withdrawl. Slight oversight in the whole getting addicted to dangerous drug plan.

Oh, and this recovery was perfectly timed with Leon leaving Berlin. It was all a little disappointing really. It was a little painful. It was a little bitter on the tongue. But who ever said that this would be the last time Ophilia would see Leon?

But, regardless, Ophilia felt sad. Leon was the closest thing to a father she'd ever had. And there was always a pang of loss whenever he left Berlin. And, this time, there was a pang of regret too.

Yes, Ophilia thought, Leon was probably the only man in her life that really, truly loved her and hadn't used her for something. A man who she could easily claim as a dad. A man she had no physical interest in and had no physical interest in her. Leon meant the world to her. It's not as if she'd had any other good male rolemodels.

Doorbell!

Ophilia opens the door to a meekish looking man.

"Can I help you?" Ophilia asks.

"I'm looking for my son."

"Oh," Ophilia says. "Did he run away? What's his name? Maybe he's hiding in an alleyway. You really shouldn't bring children up this street. Little irresponsible of you, if you don't mind me saying."

"Uh. No--well--no--I mean...his name is Oliver and I actually did the running. A very long time ago. I know you know something about him. All arrows point to you."

A pause from both of them.

Ophilia slams the door shut and exercises vocal chords to their highest strength.

"LEOOOOOOOOOON!"
