Don and I went to Toronto over the past weekend and to celebrate our anniversary a little early and then today we celebrated a little bit as well.
Toronto was amazingggg!!!!!. It could have been a tad more amazing if it didn't rain, wasn't cold and I actually got to see Jay and Issa Saturday night, but it was great nonetheless. We left his house around 11am Saturday morning and I was having such a crappy morning hitting every red light and just feeling so rushed and that feeling that I forgot something. He was so good at receiving me, he just tried his hardest to make me laugh and relax so we could enjoy the trip. He's really good at what he does. He could quit his day job! We first went to Pacific Mall.. gosh I felt bad, I was so grumpy! But it was because I was hungry, wanted to be at the hotel in the pool, and was super anxious because all the people there were Chinese or something. The we got some bubble tea and that calmed my nerves a bit. We also had this seasoned lamb kabob type thing. It was soooo GOOD! He didn't like it though because of the texture, but I enjoyed it :)
We got to the Delta Chelsea where we were staying and got in the pool asap. It was the moment I was waiting for since we started even talking about going to Tdot. Then we got dressed and went to Aji Sai's for all you can eat sushi+awesome stuff. It was greatness in my mouth. We called up Issa who was with Jay and Jordan to meet up for the Nuit Blanche art festival, but we weren't able to get a hold of them so we just walked around. I was hoping we'd have had the luck to bump into each other, but that wasn't that case =/ It's ok, though. We had a good night and it was definitely a different experience. We also took the subway and everything. Then we went home early because we weren't able to figure out where the bars were and my feet were really cold and hurting. We kind of got in a little spat because he pretty much called me out outside the hotel in front of random people. It made me feel yucky.
The next morning he was really intimate with me so it made it all better. Then we went swimming again for as long as we could without having eaten anything. I had asked the front desk peeps if we could have a later check out, so that was nice. We really got to sleep in and then enjoy the pool without feeling rushed. Afterward, we got dressed and packed up. We ate at Smoke's Poutinerie. Heaven on my tongue. Then we drove to Niagara. After dickin around for about half an hour, we decided to just pay for parking and check out the real deal. It was really nice :)
The ride home was one of the highlights as well. We were just listing top 5 things. Such as Top 5 fave people, top 5 places we want to visit, etc. He reminded me that he likes my eyes and my height and that we have a connection (chemistry). He likes my uniqueness.
So we got stopped at the border... boo. The guy on the bridge told us to give him the car keys so he could check our car. Lame. Everything was fine, though and he let us go.
