The past weekend has been quite lovely. I went to Vigil on Friday and then I went to Don's house after. We hung out for a little bit until it was time to meet the Indians and Bryan at Dave & Buster's. We went picked up Reju on the way. Unfortunately Liz wasn't able to come out, but it was still good times. We only got to play for a little while because we met up around 12:30am. The guys played games and Jacqui, Regina, and myself took the time to talk a bit and get to know each other more. It was nice since I don't really get to talk to them often. I felt like I got really close to Jacqui. I even made a point to call her yesterday to see how she was. Then we got our own game card and played the coin game... we got all too excited, too. After D&B's, we went to Denny's to have breakfast and just chill with everyone. We left at about 4ish and I got home about 4:30am. It was nice having a late night. We haven't had a late night in a long time.
Saturday - I woke up early to help Mom cook. Yaya and Lisa's wedding shower was at noon and the whole family was running kind of late. The food and decor was pretty and the games were fun. I played the word scramble with Ate Belay... she's always hilarious. The cake was amazing, too! Ate Candice did an amazing job. I felt so bad that I had to leave early =/ ugh.
I went to Don's house and we just chilled for a bit, then we swung by GameStop to return some games and get credit on his powercard. After that we headed to Greektown in Detroit. We ate at Fishbones, gambled at the casino in the non-smoking rooms, got dessert at Astoria, and went to some stripclub to waste time. That was actually very fun for us.. haha left completely sexually-charged up. Then we went to Old Shillelagh's for a bit of dancing. Once the 3.5 hours of sleep hit me, it was time to go. Got home around 12:30am. It was a great night and Don thanked me for a memorable birthday.
On Sunday, we had lunch with Don's parents, Steve, and Nick at Golden Harvest. We got to drop off Nick at his apartment and we got to swim in his apartment complex's indoor pool. That was a lot of fun! Later on, I met up with Ate Dee and we hung out in Royal Oak. We ended up at The Rock on Third. We were only good for one drink and then the exhaustion settled in and as we were walking out the door, our bartender, Marty, ran out to us and asked me, "Sorry, but do you have a boyfriend?" "Yeah, sorry!" "Oh that's okay. Just thought I'd ask. Come on in whenever."
Haha Ate Dee was like "Awwwww." hahaha
