Gosh, the weekend goes by so fast! I remember waking up yesterday morning saying "ugh it's already Saturday!?"
This weekend was a little tiring and not as relaxing as I would have wanted it to be, but it was still good nonetheless. Yesterday I worked out and then showered and then went to pick up Donnie. We went to the library for a little while to study until church. He's so cute... he took my face in his hands, the way I like it, and he asked me, "will you be the mother of my children?" hahaha I told him how I'm naming my first girl Nicole and my first son Nico. I told him I'll yell their name as soon as they pop out so he can't stop me! hahaha he's like "whatever, I'll just tell them you aren't in any condition to make that decision." I love it. I love us. And I love him. Ugh... how those little statements that show me he really does see a future with me... they get me all hung up all the time. Makes me go even more gaga over him.
Then we went to church. He sang a few of the songs. I love it when he sings at church. I've always heard that you pray twice when you sing and I love hearing him sing. And we pray together at night... but to hear him sing the songs and prayers is hearing him pray twice as much. I love it!
After, we went back to his house to eat dinner and I tested him a little more then I left for work. Oh work. Work was ok, only Madison was there, so we hung out and I gave her a bath and got her ready for bed. I read her three books and she pretty much knocked out. Hannah's grandma finally dropped her off and Hannah was super emotional. She just kept crying and it was hard for her to fall asleep. She kept finding excuses to get out of bed. Then I finally came up with the idea to just lay in bed with her until she fell asleep. She was able to stop crying when I laid with her. Then she her hands stopped moving and she finally fell asleep. I felt bad, though... her sleep schedule was off because of it. The mom was telling me how the grandma just doesn't have a sense of time and Hannah always comes home with a messy routine.
Then the parents got home, paid me and I left. I was so exhausted... babysitting always does that to me. And again I work tomorrow. I also babysit Samantha on Wednesday this week. Ugh that's going to be rough. And then I babysit again on Friday.

Today was really nice. I was able to hit the gym and then I got ready. Ate Anne picked me up and we went to Jovin's babyshower. It was really nice seeing him happy and getting ready for his family. I can't believe he's going to be a dad and a husband. Good for him! He really deserves a good woman and Ginger, his fiance, seems like a really nice person. Chris from BC's medical records was there and she was pretty much updating me on how much has changed since I left and how much she absolutely adores Donnie. She's so funny, too! Ate Anne and I left because some dude who has beef with her showed up.
Donnie picked me up and we went to Somerset to walk around and shopped a little, then we sat on a bench and I started quizzing him. The mall was closing and we were getting hungry so we left and went to my house. Mom, Andrew, and Maribel came home with groceries and I made a nice sandwich and we had some fruit. Then we went for a nice walk around my subdivision while we were studying. We got back to the house and studied inside. Then mom and dad had finished making the actual dinner and we all ate outside.
I don't know if it was the food, the sun setting, the nice weather or just being in the company of my family and Donnie + Maribel, but I really enjoyed it. Good food and good company. We had dinner on the back porch. We had a few laughs and it was really nice sitting with all of us present, minus Yaya. And it made me think -- this is what I want when I grow up and have my own family. And it just made me appreciate my family a lot for being as hospitable as they are with our guests. It was really nice of my dad to make steak and corn. I love my family so much and I'm glad Donnie and Maribel are able to take part in it.
Then Donnie and I got back to work and then he left. And of course our night prayer... what makes me most appreciative is saving time at the end of the day to reflect on our blessings. Thank you, God, for a beautiful day!
