i've had about 6 books from freshman year sitting in my closet.
never has my report card been held due to this, but this time it was.
my parents were not happy about this and told me that i had to take them back yesterday or i was going to be grounded for 2 months.
unfortunately for them, and myself...i suppose, i wasn't in a school mood nor in a mood to walk around with 6 hugeass books so i decided to stay home.
suddenly it dawned on me that they had mentioned searching my room to make sure i ACTUALLY took them.
in a state of panic, i pondered over where i could put these books for a limited time.
the christmas boxes? no.
the garage? definitely not.
i live in a new house with no neighbors, thus the options were minimal.
there was only ONE true place i could think of that i KNEW they weren't going to find them.
as farfetched as the idea may seem, i decided to put them in the empty field in front of my house.
i have visited this field many a time due to the fact that i sit in it for about 10 minutes before my dad comes home (2:45) and walk home around 3:20 to look like i "just got home".
there was one specific spot i knew where to put these books...
i made a secret place.
i dubbed it Kayla's Marsh.
i'm also a seventeen year old girl with no life, apparently.
hahahahahahaha.
anyways, i sat there and placed my books into the tall grass for disguise and threw a tumbleweed on it, in hopes that no one would find it.
even though NO ONE walks in that field.
just INCASE someone found them, i also wrote a little note.
"If you find these, please return them to Liberty High School. or just leave them here. Thanks. :)"
i went to work around 6 and andy took me home at 10:30.
i was worried that they would be gone, so andy and i ventured out into the dark field and we found them!! :D
i asked him if i could put them in his car and he said he didn't care.
so now my books aren't in some random field, which is good i guess.
the funniest part was that a helicopter shined a light on us when we were walking back to the car.
two teenagers. practically dressed like mormons. carrying books in a field at 10:30 at night.
the end.
