working the migrant camp was an amazing experience. never before had i done anything so physically, emotionally, and mentally demanding.
the only decent hardy meals i ate were dinners because durring breakfast and lunch i had to cater to the kids.
the kids are so much fun to be around, even if they get on your nerves sometimes.
the older girls love to gossip.
those kids are smart as hell. one of my kids, Pedro, supposedly only spoke an indan language called Cantoban, but in fact he spoke english fluently and had perfect spanish! and then when you would try to talk to him, he would pretend that he dind't understand you.
i had a breakdown at 2am on thursday and cried on Paola's shoulder when Andrea told me i couldn't go to sleep yet because there was more work to be done, i was so tired, i had never been so exhausted before.
I love my parents so much. they helped pack up and set up, and they took me out to dinner with my uncle in lake worth, and when i got home they got me flowers, and perfume, they cleaned my closet, and made my bed. i was so happy to be home.
I'm going to start taking scuba lessons on the 21st, hopefully i'll be certified in time for the mini lobster season! woohoo!
