life has been exciting lately, every day is a new adventure, and i've been having more and more near-death experiences recently.
so yesterday my mom puts me to work to print out some flyers for the fishing tornament while she and Nancy moved the floating dock out to the seawall in the parking lot. when i had printer problems i went to go find her and ask her what to do, Carla came with me.
she wasn't by the seawall yet so i make my way down the canal to see if i can find them. i made my way through the trees and i was going to go around the end of the fence like i normally do when all of a sudden i'm getting yelled at by the people from the office and maintenence to get out of there and go around the proper way.
so carla and i were making our way around and i ask Carla, "I wonder why they were shouting at us."
Carla spins around and she said "Are you serious?" i honestly didn't know why they were yelling at us besides the fact that we were comming into the school the wrong way, but that not a reason to flat out yell at someone. so i said "Yea, why did they tell us to go around?" Carla's jaw droped and then she said "Nicole, there was a huge crocodile next to where you were going to step." "no way, your kidding.." "You didn't see it?" "no..." "OMG!"
so we walk around and look from a different vantage point from where we were going to walk in and just below the rock i was going to step on was an 8ft. crocodile. yep, if Mrs. Hugland did have a freakout attack when she saw me, i would have lost a foot.
