Yes. Today is March 1st. And yes. I am not at school. Why? Because of a snow day. We had a freaking snow day on the first of March. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I'm THRILLED. I would've had to finish my Geometry homework during lunch. But that doesn't matter now. There was NO SCHOOL today! Wheeyayhappyyay! AND. I had cookies. AND. They were good. Haha.
Ohyes. Regarding the last entry. I had lots of fun. Anndd. I shall tell you everything you missed. On Wednesday, we had this JCL thingy for Latin. I saw and talked to Chia, Tenley, and Noel. Most of my buddies won something, so that was GREAT. Amber got first in mythological costume. And there was like.. alot of competition. So, tart for Amber. Then I got 2nd place in poetry. I'll put it up sometime if you guys want to read it. Lily got 3rd in textiles with her awesomely awesome cross-stich of the golden apple sitting on a column. -cookie for lily!- Then, Megan got 4th in mythological costume, and Kellye got 4th place for acedemic testing on mythology. -cookies for Kellye and Megan!- And then LK got 5th place in reading comprehension. Which is awesome, because you actually have to be smart to place in that. No offense to the other wonderful thingies. Because those involve talent as well. Just a different KIND of talent. I think I'm going to remove my foot from my mouth now. -cough- Ohyes! -cookie for LK!-
Andthen. On Friday we had this thing where we went outside and listened to people talk that we couldn't hear and freeze our asses off. But that's okay. Amber, Coleen/Meridith, Christina, a girl whose name I don't know, Zack J., Adam, Eric (at certain points in time), and I all sat in a circle in the middle of Broadway. Can YOU say you've sat in the middle of Broadway? I think not. Unless you were stupid and trying to get yourself killed or one of the aforementioned people or one that I forgot. The ground was COLD. Anywho. Classes we short on Friday, so that made me happy, and we had a schoolwide lunch. Deanna said she id she had to choose between Eric and Lawrence, and death wasn't an option, she'd choose Eric. I'd say that's a pretty high compliment for Eric, wouldn't you? LK decided to sit with Katie, Andie, Sarah and Megan instead of us. Oh well. I feel it important to mention here that I kicked her chair when she annoyed me, and to this action, I would like to say, oops. And I do hope you didn't make fun of me after I left. Annnnyyywaaayyy.
After school I had invited Katy to spend the night at my house, which I later found out she couldn't, but Katy, Pryia, Abby, Jamie, Diamond, Ann Maria, Ben G., and myself all went to Provence. Ben J. and Angie showed up later and when we all went to Subway and he, somehow, ended up sitting on Katy in one of those little booth thingies. After Subway we went back to Provence and later walked down to the school. Abby got picked up and set in a trash can on the way. We all watched "You Can't Take It With You" which I think was good, but was aimed at older audiences.
On Saturday, it was BEAUTIFUL and I went to the mall with Katy, Jamie, and Abby around 6:30. It did NOT feel like 3 hours had passed by the time we had left. When we were at the food court, Jamie and Katy said an inside joke really loudly and pointed at each other. We all started laughing, but this kid who was sitting nearby was like, "Are you really?" and was acting like he was going to bitch us out or something, even after they had said that, no, they weren't. It was funnier than.. I dunno, something REALLY funny.
On Sunday I went to church and Sunday school. The boys in the class were stupid, but the teacher person was all nice, and pretended not to notice, and when it finally became too obvious to ignore, he just said, if you don't stop you might have to stay after. That's like.. woah. Craziness. If that had happened at Lincoya, they might've been kicked out of the church, or at least seriously reprimanded. The sermon was beautiful. I hope I can go back sometime with Megan. I'm actually really nervous being there at all. I go all quiet and stuff. >_< Then they took me out to lunch at O'Charleys. It was really fun.
