(no subject)
So.. yeah. LK and Ruby and Freebird (I think) went and saw Bright Eyes LIVE. And they got to see Conor. >_< I wanted a shiiirrrtt. Bleck.
Anyway.. Today was great and completely hilarious. I came in late to 2nd period, but apparently Ms. Bastedo didn't care. It's the crutches, baby. ^_^ We did this mystery thing where we had to make these pedigree charts and I figured out something and Evelyn and Tyler basically called me stupid about it because they said they thought that the people who made it wouldn't do that to us because it's so stupid. I read far too many mysteries, I knew the TRUTH! Bwhaah. Haha. I asked Ms. Bastedo and she said that they COULD have... whatever it was. I'm being ambigous because I want to feel special. You all probably know anyway, but I don't really care. And basically, she said I was right, so I found a clue! I <3 mysteries. Haha.
Evelyn told me... yeserday? That I was really annoying when I was younger, not that I didn't know this, but I thought I was better in 7th and 8th. At least I wasn't depressed anymore. ^_^ She said that I was like, "Yay! I have friends! Look! Look, everyone! I have friends this year!" That really sucks. Was I really like that, guys? Cause I didn't know I was, and I also didn't know everyone had/has such a low opinion of me. Haha.. I thought I was pretty well liked. Except for the fact Evelyn and I were fighting at that time. But she also said I'm mean... am I really mean? Cause if I am, then that sucks. Because I try really hard to not be mean, but I'm sick of being a doormat, too. Blergh.
After Bio. we had this activity thing where we went to the auditorium (balcony for the freshie that I am) and I ended up going up and down the 'stairs' that are up there. Haha. It was stupid because I just kept following Katie and Andie because the vice principal is stupid and apparently doesn't know that a person on crutches DOES NOT LIKE STAIRS. She afterwards mentioned how good at the stairs I was on my crutches. Uh-oh. -clings to elevator key- Anyway.. it was on Child Labor Laws and sexual harrasment from bosses for teens or something.. I wasn't really listening. I mean.. I kinda was, but he was boring as crap. I just kept watching the freshman on the balcony. I knew who most of them were. ^_^ Then as we were leaving I got up and the pole shocked me. Haha. Stupid pole. That's when the VP made her 'crutch' comment.
After that I went down to Musical Theater where we really didn't do anything the whole time. This girl was teaching Monet and Jasmine the mashed potato. It was so funny because black girls are the ones who can dance, but the white girls were the ones who got the step right first. They kept saying 'they're gonna take my black card away from me' and then laughing. I cannot walk. So I cannot do the funny foot-movement mashed potato thing. I know HOW to do it. Dunno if I can, though. Monet and Jasmine would randomly do this step called the popcorn. 0_o I SO do not know dancing. And what's with the food refrences? It was really fun because we just hung out the whole time. Except for at the end when Mr. Bruce came over to watch us sing, and I thought they were going to do a performance thing, so I didn't sing when I supposed to, and looked like the 'weak link' commonly reffered to as 'the idiot'. Haha.. Oh well.
Then I went to Latin. We had another sub today, so we just kinda talked the whole time and were stupid. When the sub left the classroom for like.. 10 minutes, Michael plugged his MP3 player into one of the computer speakers and we listened to whatever was on it. She came back in and he snuck away and then put Megan's headphones in it and turned it up loud so we could all -kinda- hear it. (the music was still really soft... Guns N Roses I think.. then it became.. something that I can't remember what it is now, but I know it's something I like.. it was Katie's.. whatever it was.) Then Amber wrote on the desk in blue permanent marker and then scratched it off. I think we left like.. 10 minutes early.
During lunch the fire alarm went off twice for no apparent reason, Deanna went and got in line for food while everyone was going outside because we were all confused. The rest of my table just stayed where we were. It was freaking RAINING outside! Then we (when I say we I mean Deanna with comments from the peanut gallery.. aka me, Amber, and Evelyn.) got into this argument with Lawrence over Confederate flags. I personally think that they represent a very bad period of time in the United States, when slavery was legal, and I do believe that when someone sees a confederate flag they see someone being proud of that bad time in our history. Which is something that I don't think should be proudly displayed. Lawrence said it represented that he was proud of his southern heritage and proud of his ancestors that died. But what they were fighting for wasn't a good thing. -is referring to the slavery as being bad, no one bite my head off- I think many people take the confederate flag offensively and he shouldn't be.... so happy to have it. Anyway....
After lunch we went to IS, but this girl fainted and apparently got carried out on a stretcher and so coach Harned wasn't with us and Lily, Amber, Deanna, and I all went down to guidance and chatted with Katy. (Lawrence had left for a dentist appointment, so we didn't have that angry discussion anymore, thank goodness). So basically all I did at school today was talk with friends, which was TOTALLY awesome. Heck, if today hadn't been so good, I might say it was bad. Haha..
I think I might be sick, but it's probably me being all sneezy from the 70 year old book with all of Shakespere's plays in it. My throat hurts and my nose is running. -better go catch it, haha..-
Please comment, guys. I know LK's entry will probably be much more interesting, but I just wasted about an hour of time that I could've been working on my Geometry story with. By the way, tomorrow's my mum's 50th b-day. Be sure to wish her a happy one! Love you guys,
