Blurred faces and no direction
Falling into a ravine
Unexplained first impressions
The burn you've known and seen

It's easy to show a clean slate
Innocence for arriving late
Like a disobedient child serves his dog
The greenery falls unseen from the plate

Theres more honesty stalking the freeway
Dismiss the clouds bring in the day
Can truth be silenced by petty objections
Love can't be found in walking infections

You can open up your eyes and open your ears
then you will find the truth
Yet if not they will come and look on the ground
and thats where they will find you

There is a beauty in being wrapped up in their lies
The blood is drained and gone
But the heat will keep you alive
