(no subject)
I got up at 5 this morning and I don't feel gross at all. and I haven't even napped :O but I was only up so early 'cause Slosh left for his piratey conference for pirates at 7 and likes a leisurely morning (and also apparently underestimates the awesomeness of a full nights' sleep). He will be back on Friday so until then I guess I will spend my evenings doing things like socialising with people that aren't him :P (especially people that are Rosie)
Today has been perfect so far 'cause it rained for ages (so I don't have to water the garden or get dressed) and now it's sunny (so I can weed the garden/attack the ivy). Dana and Toby have set up a totally sweet vege garden. It even has brick edging, it's so cute~
I haven't really been looking for jobs any more, I start at Telecom in 3 weeks and my last WINZ appointment is next week... having money's gonna be great ^_^
German's going well, but we don't learn stuff very quickly so I'm looking forward to my textbook arriving so I can do the shit out of audio exercises.. and regular exercises. it'll be fine. I keep wanting vocab lists or something but we're not learning enough in each session to warrant that :P I expected something a bit more intense from something called "Crash course in German". Oh well. I can always take another one :P
Oh yeah, Slosh has started moving some stuff in, which is useful. I like having a decent bed and extra couch ^_^ we will have so many couches... *must remember to post a party to the list sometime around the moving in/out of people* [speaking of which, his birthday party was awesome ^_^ many more people than I expected, like a for reals party]
And, last but not least, this weekend is gonna be awesome :D Ric Halloween ftw! and then the LFoD fireworks (hopefully safer than last time :P)
