Hmmmm, so even if today brought a new round of snow, it seems like spring is finally rolling in. It's a big relief to be able to just wander around outside--I always miss that a lot in winter. There's even a new Innocence Mission cd out, so this spring almost seems like some strange mirror of two years ago... but a lot is different since then.
I decided to not try out for the tennis team. I went the first day, but a few lackluster practice sessions beforehand and my busy schedule convinced me I wouldn't like it. I worked five days this week at Panera for a total of about 25 hours, and that added to actually doing my math, physics, and art homework as well as all the social times would just be too much for me to handle. Me-time is such a commodity these days that today, being just a normal Monday at home, is turning out to be a big stress reliever.
Besides that, I'm really sad because of Mrs. Makuch's abrupt departure last Friday. It was really touching to see how appreciated she was--what with all the flowers, cards, signs, cookies, and well-wishes in a smattering of foreign languages. I hope she's alright. If I was into Jesus and all I'd pray or something, but oh well. Shit happens :[.
Things socially have been very fun, very hectic, and in some circumstances very annoying recently. Crockatt's house, and other hang outs I don't really remember, were as fun as they've ever been. Some things have just got to run their course, and I'm trying my absolute best to hope that they're nearly finished. I have the queasy feeling they're not though, and if it goes like it did today, I dunno dooooood, srsly. I miss Sara though coz I see her like once a year now with work... Panera's kind of been gobbling up my free-time, but I also have money for if I end up going to JAMAICA this summer and to college later, so whatevs.
Work tomorrow 5-10, but guess what!? I'm not closing which is obviously wonderful, and Dianna is coming over the next day to do some French and watch ANTM! She wants to learn the language, and for the level we'd start at, the level I'm in, and the length of time before she loses interest, I figure it'll be fine, lol. On ne recolte que ce qu'on a seme, n'est-ce pas? Sure, why not. Plus she's a cool girl.
