Okay, so here's what you do, right? You should go out to the bakery and find yourself a big piece of decadent-looking cake, and stick four candles in it. Then say, "Good riddance you son-of-a-bitch," blow them out, and eat your cake in celebration of your four-month anniversary of freedom from guys who don't deserve you.
When you were going through a rough time, and you tried to turn to him to give you some support, he chose to do the selfish thing and leave instead of give anything of himself for you. It doesn't like that's the kind of guy you would have wanted. You deserve way better than some selfish prick like that. Don't you?
Hee hee, thanks... it's still difficult to look at it that way, but eventually the message will get through to me. Hopefully things will get easier when I start school again, and until then, it's good to know that I have the support of my friends. :)
Oh, I know. I had a partner for twelve years, and the whole time I just knew it was forever... and when something came up with me that she thought was hard to deal with, she couldn't get away from me fast enough. :b
It'll be eleven months since she left me, on the 24th. It took me until probably January to really realize how much better off I am without someone like that, who only loved me "IF" I made sure I always fit her idea of what I should be. You'll get there too, love, it just takes time.
