it's all something big
you know it was something big if i can't write about it for this long. georgia was something big for me.
this thanksgiving i am thankful for the school of the americas watch. i am thankful that 48 hours in vans with people made me love them, not hate them. i am thankful for men that cried at the gates. i am thankful for the puppetistas that made me dance and rejoice and those that participated in the die-in that made me feel and hurt. for warm georgia sun that burned me, for cold georgia nights that made me snuggle with others. for campfires, for baked beans and carrots, for trail mix, for comfortable vans, for singalongs, for not driving in atlanta/dc/new york traffic on a daily basis. for everyone being a good driver. for erica crying on the george washington bridge!!
