The summer semester Authoritarian Politics seminar has concluded!
We covered political systems and regime types, the principal-agent dichotomy and autocratic lawmaking, the history of bureaucracy, and other fascinating subjects that could be fit into one semester.
See the happy lecturer after having listened to the students' final presentations and the discussion thereof, from 10 am to 4 pm on this lovely Friday. The lecturer is being presented with a postcard (there's a little instant photo inside, with its Polaroid-like slightly faded colors giving distinctly '80s vibes) and some loose leaf tea (green and black, very thoughtfully selected by the enlightened students).
Now for some vacation-and back to more of the same (hopefully) starting in October.
