(no subject)
So this past week was crazy, I had three midterms and a paper all on Thursday and Friday. I ended up not dying and surprisingly I think I did well on the tests and the paper. I think that's the theme this semester - me being overwhelmed and crazily busy but I've been making it through in the end.
There's still so much I have to do to get ready for going to Spain. It's weird how in about 2 1/2 months I'll be in Salamanca, I'm super excited but also kinda nervous. Right now the visa process is killing me, there are all these forms and certificates I need that I don't know exactly where to get and my appointment is on the 23rd... Hopefully everything will get sorted out by then or else I'm screwed.
Last night was fun, I really love my friends here. It seems like I'm always meeting new people too, which is fun. Although I may not fit the image of the typical PC student, there are so many other people who don't either and when we band together it's always fun times.
This fall weather has been nice and refreshing but I'm realizing how drafty my house is. I'm kinda glad that I'll be gone for the worst of the winter. I feel like going apple picking or running through some trails or something. This is another time that I feel the lack of a car. It just sux feeling kinda stranded at home. I know there's public transportation and I have my bike but those can only get you so far.
JRW is also coming up!! I'm very excited :) I need to get a dress though. I really like this one, obviously I wouldn't look exactly like that cause I'm not a Victoria's Secret model but what do you think?
So ya, I just felt the urge to post, which is good cause I didn't for awhile. I like livejournal, both to read what's going on with my friends and to keep a record of what I'm feeling and doing at the time.
Almost forgot, The Smashing Pumpkins are coming this week!! I'm so excited to see them but also teensy bit sad that I'm missing my Philosophy class, we're doing Kant and I like him, kinda pathetic I know. But Smashing Pumpkins win out. And don't worry steph, I will take lots of pictures and tell you all about it afterwards, it'll be like you were there.
Now I'm off to start Sense and Sensibility, I love being an English major :)
