So, McCain's the actual, official nominee for the Republican party. While Ron Paul is still in, he's batshit insane, so he's only a marginal worry for McCain if a concern at all.
And Hillary got her Ohio and Texas primaries by slim margins. This doesn't put her any closer to the lead in delegate count, but it may help her catch up in the popular vote. What does this mean for the Democratic party? It means another few months of rehashed rhetoric from both of the Democratic candidates arguing each of their barely distinct policies. The nation hates being cast as only looking to the person and not to their policies, but what else is there between Obama and Clinton? They are so very similar, that the only things that differentiate them are their personal qualities.
So that's what we might hear more of for the next few months, increasingly stronger character-driven attacks between the nominees. While Nader's entry into the race pissed me off initially, just to give these two more to talk about it might be nice to have him in the race.
