brief update
Friday, Oct 22 my plane leaves Detroit at 9am, and Monday Oct 25 my plane leaves Miami at 8am. Does anyone have any idea how exciting this is? I haven't seen Sara or Charles since July. . .this means I haven't seen my sister pregnant yet, and she's 19 weeks along. Sure she sends pictures but it's not the same. My mom and I are travelling alone, as this is mostly a girly shop-for-baby-stuff trip. I'm a little worried because my mom doesn't handle flying well. . she'll do it, but she freaks out when we take off and land, and I don't know what to do with her when she does. That sounded incredibly insensitive.
I got myself up early this morning to finish a paper, and now I get to go have a conference with my english prof about the rough draft. Interesting writing process this man has indeed.
Lone Star decided to schedule me only one day this week, and of course it was Saturday, the only day I really would care to not work. That's just the way it had to go, right? Oh well, I guess I can still go to the meet in the AM.
Guess I should go shower and get ready since I have to leave in about 40 minutes.
