end of the century
I suppose it's time for a reasonable update.
Graduated Sunday. Couple of long fake speeches, couple really good ones, lots of sitting. It doesn't even seem like it happened anymore. Thirteen years in school and you spend an hour listening to select people talk, shake some hands, get a piece of paper in a cool cover, and you're done.
Then you spend your summer Sundays graduation party hopping. Mine's not until July though so I wonder how many people will actually still have the invites and come.
Nothing has really been going on, but it's only been a week. Got sunburnt spending the day outside with Al Monday, went to the mall and swam with Court and Al Tuesday, went to the beach with some friends Wednesday, went to the mall again and saw Harry Potter with Court Al and Ben Thursday, and today I worked 4-8:30 and went to Ben's where we played badminton and DDR with Court and Kait. I still have random techno songs in my head. DDR's a pretty fun game, it gets the adrenaline going and helps your coordination at the same time. I can see myself getting addicted to playing it but I can't ever see going to a public arcade to play it. It's a fun little thrill though.
I wonder if this summer will be any different than any of the last two or three. Not that I want new friends or anything like that; I love the regular stuff we do. I just want a bit of spice here and there to liven things up, I guess. Really want to go on a road trip to Cedar Point or camping somewhere.
