I helped my mom make neon green cupcakes for St. Patrick's Day. Her coworkers were afraid of them. Made normal ones and chocolate ones too, for the less adventurous types.
Today we were forced to stay in fourth period for somewhere around 3 hours. The class is one hour long, but due to "electrical activity" we needed to stay inside for safety purposes. When did they decide to tell us this? Right before lunch. Went to lunch a little late and was forced to stay in the Galley (a.k.a. cafeteria -- our school has nautical themed everything) and we couldn't walk around the halls.
Sometimes it just sucks having an open campus.
My friends and I tried to go into the auditorium, because the one lady said we could, but the assistant principal freaked out because we were outside and told us to eat or go back to fourth period. I just wanted to see my friends who had B Lunch, but no. They wouldn't even let the Co-op people leave to go to work...not a pretty situation. So after some confusion everyone gets back to fourth period.
There we sat in math class with nothing to do; no one wanted to be there, not even the teacher. People's conversations ranged from 'she's sooo mad at her parents because they bought her the wrong colored Ferrari' to 'I really have to fart.' I have come to the realization that half of my class is quite dense and they really do need to weed them out of the Honors classes.
Speaking of, today was the only day for registration and we were sent to seventh period after our extended fourth. So far, I'm signed up for Honors Physics I, AP English Literature Composition, Pre-Calculus (my teacher wants me in College Algebra though), Honors American Government, Honors Economics, ('are you sure you don't want AP European History?' 'no sir.'), Study of Film as Literature, Honors Humanities, and Psychology I and II. I want British Literature and Culture I, but I have no more room in my schedule; I still need to get recommended for American Sign Language II.
And the rain, rain, rain came down, down, down...
Walking home, I had to go the long way, because the back way I usually go through had turned into a swamp and a river. There was more water back there than when Charley went through (although there were no whitecaps in the back ditch this time). Joe's mom asked if I wanted a ride home, but I declined...felt like walking in the rain. Still mad at myself for forgetting to waterproof my boots; they seem to be alright.
When I get around to uploading the pictures, I will post them here (and delete this sentence).
