I dyed my hair again last night. It didn't turn out exactly how I envisioned it would. Bother. Buuut, it does turn heads. Or make people stare. Whatever. But yeah, so I went to Publix with my mom today, and this guy, like 6'5", mid 40's says "How long did *that* take?" and I was caught off guard, so I just went 'uh...' and then my mom said 'About an hour and a half.' and I was like 'uh...' So then the dude goes on to tell me how he grew up in the 80's (guess that'd put him mid 30's - early 40's) and he was there for the Punk movement, and how he's glad to see it coming back again. And how he went to a concert in Tampa not too long ago to see The Darkness, and how he felt all old and stuff. Then he was telling me how he had is hair dyed yellow for a month, then green for a couple months, unintentionally though. And how the green didn't come out well ('cause I was complaining about mine) And about how he had modeled for some magazine...Maxim? (lol, sounded like it)...and how his hair was every color you could imagine. Blah, blah, blah. So then I go to the check-out line thingy, and the cashier and bagger dude were pretty young, so she was saying how she liked my hair and all, and the dude said something, don't remember what, and then the chick was going on about how she wasn't brave enough to do that, but she liked it 'cause it was different/original. Then the check out lady behind me walks over (it was a slow day in NoFo) and said "I have a question." I was assuming it was for the other check out lady, so I didn't look at her, then she said "Was that supposed to be different colors, or..?" And I was like 'Yes, different colors.' And she was all like "Oh. They wouldn't lose you at the beach! ::giglegiglegigle::" And I was like "Beach?? ::looks at pale scrawny arm:: Nope." So then we left and stuff.
I'm tired. But...I'm gonna go to St. Pete tomorrow. Yaaay!! I wanna go now, 'cause, oh, wait, I wanna be in Tampa tonight...Brass Mug. Ha. Senior moment. Oh well. Gonna go call my friend and see if she can go with me. Hopefully this time she'll answer her phone! ::mumbles::
