Cloudrainbow

On the way home from work today I sat in the park reading the paper in the sunshine, and about 6.20 the sun went in. I looked up, and there was this huge cloud obscuring it, but the sun was doing that glowing thing it does when it's strong but hidden... And a little way to the left of the sunglowingness there was this incredible glowing of colours, it wasn't a rainbow because it had no bow to it, but all the colours were there, in the clouds... I had never seen anything like it, it was quite magical. Looked like something out of a movie or a cartoon; preternatural.

It lasted about 5 minutes, until the clouds moved away and the colours faded.

I wish wish wish I'd had my digital camera. Magic. :)
