Sorry to bore you all with more drama so i'll make
I've been thinking about quitting my job (at PetSmart if you didn't know) for a while, but I'd just been playing with the idea since it pays fairly well and I hadn't gone to manager training yet so I was just kind of faking it, doing what I knew how to do and what not. I was scheduled to go to Ogden for training, but couldn't for various reasons on the first day of it, which was Tuesday. And after a couple futile attempts at contacting them I called my home store to tell them. The Store director was really pissed and what not so I decided that it's finally time to really quit the stupid job.
So about an hour before I'm going to go home today the 2 store directors call me into the office and basically tell me to step down from my position. I decided to go along with it because I was going to quit anyway but when I get home, and start looking online for PT jobs so I can start school but still bring in some money and I find a help wanted ad for Pet Care Manager at MY store posted yesterday. They knew I was going to leave the position no matter what and just gave me the options so I wouldn't feel bad or something like that. *sigh* stupid shit.
I'm thinking of doing something in science in college... maybe majoring in animal biology or something so I can start working to be a vet tech. I really like working with animals and, while it may be tough at times, I think I may be able to handle it if I know that I'm making a real difference in their lives, not just selling them dumb little hamsters or fish.
On another note: I stapled my thumb today! I was playing with the stapler and it went straight into my thumb, the whole length of the vertical side... It didn't hurt til I took it out, lol.
