I'm back, yo.
Hey everyone! Er, um, everyone that still might read this... I haven't updated in nearly a year, but I decided I'm going to start again. Allison and I were reading our old entries last night and I forgot how much fun livejournal is! Although, I only have a couple of people on my friends list that still update on a regular basis, everyone has pretty much given up on LJ!
Let's see. What's new...
I graduated in December.
I still work at the airport. Well, maybe I should back up a bit. I started working there nearly 3 years ago, but I quit in August 2007, I think. Then, I was unemployed for awhile, had a few lame jobs in between, but ended up right back there again. Hah. I guess I just like it too much. Now I'm graduated and STILL working there...
And yes, I'm looking for a job. A real job. Or any job where I can make enough money to actually live on my own! I'm still with my parents right now, but hopefully I can move out soon. I secretly don't want to leave Michigan, even though I hate the weather, I love it here--but if there's an opportunity elsewhere I know I should take it, and I've come to accept that... maybe.
It's weird not being in school anymore, but I don't miss it at all. I always had to try so hard and I never really did that well. It was annoying.
Oh, my kitty, Envy , got put to sleep last spring. I really miss him but he had been sick for years and it was his time to go. =( I want a new cat but Carl is allergic so I don't think I can get one. Even though he gets to keep his dog that I don't like!
Emily is getting married in July. I'm so excited! Rachel and I are going to plan the bachelorette party! I don't know if I want to have a big wedding when I get married, I'd rather spend the money on something else. I never was one of those girls that dreamed of my perfect wedding day.... actually I try to avoid thinking about it because it sort of makes me sick. BUT it's not my wedding so it'll be fun.
