Freakin' sick!
I came down with strep throat this morning...AGAIN. I had it two weeks ago, and I was on an antibiotic for awhile and felt fine. But I finished taking it the other day, and now it came back! I don't know if I never actually got rid of it and the medicine was just making it better, or if I actually got it again. Either way, I hope this time I get better. They gave me a different kind of medicine, this kind I only have to take for 5 days. And only one dose each day, too....which will be way easier to remember to take them all!
Anyway, my throat has been killing me all day, and it's so swelled up that I can barely talk. I have a really bad fever too, I keep getting sweats and chills. I'm all clammy and gross.
I was supposed to go to Leah's bridal shower and her bachelorette party today, but I had to call and say I couldn't go. I feel bad, especially because emily really wanted me to go since she wouldn't really know anybody else, and I was going to try and make it...I got Leah a present after I went to the doctor and I got the directions to the bridal shower and everything... but i just kept feeling worse and worse as the day went on. I didn't want to drive that long all by myself if I felt that awful. Plus, I didn't want to get anybody else sick. It's even worse than the time I had it a few weeks ago because last time I didn't have a bad fever! I hate being sick!
I should feel better tomorrow though, I hope. Seriously, today I don't think I got up off the couch once after I came home from the doctor! Well, i guess once, to take a shower. But arg... i'm so lame. I wish I didn't always get sick.
