blackout
huh. So apparently a huge chunk of downtown is without power right now, including the area where I live. I'm not there though, I came to visit my parents for the night.
I'm a little sad (but only a little), I would have liked to go out and wander the streets and see what's going on in my neighbourhood.. I just randomly happened to be out of town for the big blackout in 2003 too, and I felt like I missed out on a pretty interesting experience. But hey, I'm glad to have heat and be able to use the computer and all the wonders electricity brings.
Here's hoping everyone stays safe, warm and gets their power back soon.
