2006 was, for the most part, an incredible year. the first few months i drove to vegas a lot to visit krista, but the weekends i was home i spend having some really satisfying parties at my parent's house and attending some of the best social gatherings i think i ever had in the agoura/westlake/thousand oaks area.

i often feel like i spent a lot of time before then with some fucked up people who didn't really give a shit about me, and for those months and the last half of 2005, i really felt how much everyone i spent time with cared about each other, and for some reason, that made the binge drinking and beating the shit out of each other all the better.

i moved to vegas in april, and while i miss everyone from home more than i think i can explain, i learned a lot out here. namely, always follow your heart, but try not to move to las vegas unless you have to. moving to be with krista was one of the best decisions i've ever made, and while i spent a lot of time hating one of my roommates, i made a few good friends out here as well. heather, the good roommate, is a blast and a perfect person to live with. tk, from the first time i hung out with him, i knew he and i were on the same wavelength and we get along perfectly because of it. mark is my irish drinking buddy and i love the kid.

i got hired as an assistant wedding photographer, got fired, and got hired again. i worked as a product photographer, got fired, and barely survived for awhile, while i got really really fucking good at shoplifting and using stolen goods to live on. i got hired by apple, which was a dream come true. it has all the things i loved about selling and talking about cameras with none of the shitty coworkers.

i really feel like 2007 has the potential to be one of the best years to date. i move home, i turn 21, living on my own in los angeles is almost too exciting to think about.
