days of summer
well its been a while since i last wrote in here. guess i've been kinda MIA in the livejournal scene lately. my laptop was broken and i dreaded going to the san juan library because its kinda eerie. so basically the major problem is that we use dial-up in this house and high-speed internet is a must-have for college students like me, but mother dearest wont budge when i try to convince her of this. oh well, its just for the summer...
so the summer has been kinda fun just hanging around the house doing nothing. i've lost 5 lbs. i think it wouldve been more except there's always a filipino party to go to and there's always awesome food that i dont wanna miss out on. gaahhh. oh well. AND stupid hurricane emily screwed up my walking routine at the track. that turned out pretty good until it kept raining and the mosquitos started taking over the valley. darn you mosquitos!!
lets see what else... oh my ex-classmates from elementary and i have been keeping in touch via email in friendster. its fun getting a hold of them again. imagine its been what- 12 or 13 yrs!! cant believe they still remember me. haha. i'd love to see them all again. i'm trying to convince my mom to go back to the phils. next summer. i want to soooo badly. my cousin and i watched like 4 filipino movies in a row. there's this hot guy that i could stare at for hours. hehe. i should be his loveteam :D ngekkkk!! i just need to get my tagalog back together. its very sad right about now. my bisaya on the other hand is pretty good. ive talked to a couple friends in bisaya for practice and i'm gettn better. had lunch with herby at taco bell the other day. we ended up talking for 3hrs! it was insane coz i hadnt seen him in forever. harry stopped by a couple of times and that was fun- talking about forever ago. its crazy to remember what you've forgotten and what they remember and vice-versa. it was definitely a trip down memory lane talking to those two. its just interesting how you manage to lose touch with people you were so close to at one point in your life. i mean one day they were one of your best friends, then the next you dont seem to exist anymore. i'm glad i
got the chance to fix things up with old friends. i've realized life is wayyy too short to hold grudges.
anyway, jon's coming home tomorrow! effin' finally! can't wait to see him...
