so i've been thinking. how many people can you really call a true friend. and i dont mean people you say hi to when you see them walking passed you in the hall or in the mall somewhere. a genuine friend. i've looked through pictures from high school and realized that its really hard. especially girl friends. its rare to find ones that dont get on your nerves after a while. maybe its just me. its one thing to always have someone to say hi to when you walk across campus, its another to have someone be there for you when you're in the hole. so the moral of the story, kids-- be thankful for the friends who've been there.

friends are like stars. you may not always see them, but they're always there.
