i don't actually have bands that i 'hate'... but if i had to choose 5 bands that i think are severely [sp?] overrated.. i'd say [again, in no particular order]:
. good charlotte [will society ever stop picking on those poor souls?]
. afi [the lead singer is good.. but i've heard too much of that one song.. silver and cold or something..]
. whoever sings that stupid song tipsy.. [that guy has a good voice.. but ohhhh myyy goshhhh.. i know that song word for word now.. but dont think i'm against all rap/hip hop.. i'm not.]
. 50 cent [holy crap. just shut him up. he even has his own reebok shoes?!?! whatttt?]
. hilary duff [shes pretty, she can sing. but hello?!? i dont want to wash myself with soap that says "stuff by hilary duff" or hear that "come clean" song again.. shes everywhere. shes taking over.]
4. Favorite book? The Giver by Lois Lowry.. or Animal Farm by George Orwell. [im aware that i listed TWO... thanks]
5. Favorite cd you own? a mixed cd i made for a softball tournament out of state. its got yellowcard, tears for fears, relient k, loverboy and all kinds of new and old stuff. gotta love that Loverboy. ohhh not to mention Garbage.
6. How smart are you? (GPA or IQ) 3.96 GPA on a 4.0 scale and last time i took one of those silly IQ tests.. i had a 153. eh eh not bad huh?
7. Vinyl or CDs? Vinyl for my walls.. thats right.. i've got Dolly Parton and Prince all on my wall but CDs to listen to in the car... but when im at home i just do it the illegal
way and stream/download from IMesh. ohhh a rebel!
8. Favorite Actor/Actress? Hugh Grant because he admits to sleeping with a prostitute and Julia Robers/Julia Stiles/Reese Witherspoon.. BECAUSE I CAN!
9. Are you sxe? i don't generalize myself into being sXe.. but i used to be.. sure, it became a trend.. but i dont drink, do drugs or have sex... but i dont call myself sXe either. i'm just one of those kids who stands behind all those hardcore sXe kids and laughs because i was there once. i think its a good call.. but i am.. at the same time i'm not. get it? yeah me either.
10. Best concert you've been to? why? blink 182/midtown/new found glory.. because i'm retarded and i was young. name a pop star and i guarantee i've been to their concert. i went to nsync, bsb, britney, mandy, all that music and more festivals 1 & 2. yeah.. i was a teeny bopper. thats why that lame concert was the best yet. OHHHH BUT IM GOING TO BUZZFEST! that shall be the new best <3
11. Any hidden talents? hidden? nope not really. i can do the human pretzel. and i can turn my belly button inside out. but who cant, right? right. pfft. .... not to mention my uncanny talent for not being able to spell worth jack.
12. ..Can you do a spin kick? um no. and the last time i tried, i broke my tailbone for the 4th time.. then permanently [sp?] displaced it.
13. What's your main goal in life? i just want to become a sports medicine doctor // pediatric physical therapist. and join the peace corps for a year, go overseas to africa to work with the Students Partnership Worldwide as a health volunteer.. and yeah.. i've got alot of thigns planned.
