bath.

fuck yes! bath was not only one of my favourite shows in a long time it was also one of the most beautiful places i have visited. we arrived very late because london traffic is a fucking nightmare. everything from too many cars to no street signs to windy roads that change names randomly made that one of the worst driving experiences ever. i mean it was kind of fun too though. driving on the left side, shifting gears with my left hand, and fearing for my life every 10 minutes. i kept expecting swinging rocks and poison arrows to come our way at any moment. oh, and by the way - i am the only one who can drive stick so i am now also the tour driver.

anyway, enough about london. we arrived in bath late. the sound guy was amazing and gave us a quick sound check anyway. then he told us which way to go and see some beautiful things. and beautiful they were. what a fantastic place. i had no idea really...

then there was the show. the promoters were great! they were so lovely and fun and dj'd before during and after the bands. they wedged us in between the two local bands and i thought everything and everyone sounded great. let's tea party played last and were really really good. there was a big dance party afterwards and god damn it if we did not dance until the wee hours. the venue was fantastic and had the likes of the smiths, blur, the damned, massive attack, oasis, radiohead, pulp, primal scream, tori amos, and squarepusher grace it's stage.

a million thanks to ashton and rachel for a lovely night, for taking great care of us, and for making us pizza at 4 in the morning before tucking us into bed...
