Gaming Session for October 20th 2002
First off, a few of the NPC's.
Xanthos
With a name like that..... he has to be evil. a demigod of some form... we are not quite sure. currently thought to be responsible for much of the odd stuff that happened the night previous. responsible for Mel's sudden suave appearance, Ternier's insantity, Simon's Paranoia. Perhaps, thought (by some) to be responsible for even the ritual of blood-letting shared between Xana and Salae.
Vanessa
a stone elf bard. she travels with us currently to find her ancestors. has powerful stone-working magical abilities. she has melded with the stone around her on more than one occasion. once rescued the entire party from a blazing inferno of greek fire.
Mordekai
a powerful adversary following Celena (and currently has Celena in his custody). Celena and Salae know little of him. Nothing of his origins, nothing of his motives. All that is known, is that death seems to follow him around.
Salae
a female human fighter that travels with Mordekai. lash marks riddle her back belly and chest. currently traveling with the party at the order of Mordekai. Not even Salae knows Mordekai's reasoning for this, but she does as she is told. Has shown great passion in the protection of the week... and the slaughter of oppressors.
I am currently playing Salae for as long as she travels with the group.
The Don
Mel's God Father, his boss. the person who charged Mel with protecting Celena. The Don wanted Celena back in Kilnor for her birthday. But since Mordekai has captured her, Mel couldn't execute the request. His life is now forfeit.
King Parflay
quite the hilarious man. squander's his coin on luxury and women. his rule of thumb is self-indulgence.
Semerin
A blacksmith from Milbourne. Criticized, even, by his grandmother for his lack of wit. nickname within Milbourned is Goblin choker. Fell in love with Xana at first sight. Waited in the rain with a boquet of hand-crafted steel flowers for Xana to show up at a festival for a dance. when Xana finally could manage to make it into Milbourned, Semerin had packed up and left to join the very forces that are hunting people like Xana (priests and priestesses) Finally the two have a dance at a ball in the parties' honor. Currently Semerin is battling the barbarians on the front lines
From Salae's perspective, the game session:
August 31st
The party spends the night at Parflay's keep, wakes up in luxury to a wonderful breakfast. Our agenda for the day is to retrieve Ternier from wherever his insane wanderings have led him. Salae, Xana, and Alphonse head to Thurmaster and learn horrible news that Semerin has died in the great slaughter of Kor Arena. Travel back up to Parflay's keep waiting for the other party members to retrieve Ternier from Melbourne.
September 1st
at barely 10 in the morning, Salae and Xana begin drinking hard alchohol. For xana, this is a time for mourning Semerin. For Salae, this is time *not* spent killing.
september 4th
after three pleasurable nights of recipricating pain, Xana has a beautiful carving down her spine and I have an exquisite tattoo penned into the small of my back.
I discover after washing up in a river, that i have "Slave Trader" scrawled onto my forhead. It seems that at some time in my drunkeness, one of the members of the party decided to inflict upon me, the pain of my past. But it is that pain which drives me forward... and like pleasure, pain should be recipical.
