Labels for life or change your outlook?

People who see someone and right from there just "label" them, without giving the chance to get to know any better of them... tend to bother me at times. It's like, when they see someone walking they're just like "Oh that person's goth" or "Oh look at how she dresses, she must be a slut". I mean, everyone assumes things of people they don't know, just see, of course. But, it's the people that do that, that get the chance to actually get to know the person, and because of their first assumption they refuse to learn any different of the person. I mean, look at yourself. Have you ever done that to someone? Has someone ever done that to you?

Question time....

*If you were someone else, and you saw yourself as you are now walking down the street or hanging around with your friends, what would you think of yourself? Would you want to get to know you, or would you stick with your first visual impression? How would you "label" yourself?

*If you saw me walking or hanging out with my friends, and you didn't already know me, what would you think of me? How would you "label" me? Would you want to get to know me better than just that impression? If you have gotten to know me, has your impression of me changed from what it was just seeing me, if so how?
