It's so good to see that things at hogwarts haven't changed in the years of my absence. There are the bullies, the cool kids, the bookworms, and the outcasts. The only difference is what makes them part of those categories. I was a bookworm, and probably still would be today. However, there's a very new breed of "cool kids." I cut the laptop off and then when it came back on it stopped playing the CD, but now I can't get it out of the laptop.

I'm horrid at this.

It's alright... I had those problems too. I forgot how to get the cds out, though. I've only used one once...

I think that was just a figure of speech...

Mine's doing alright. I finally figured out how to fix the layout on my personal journal. I'm not sure I like it, though.

I'd like it more if teachers would let us use some of these typing programs instead of parchment. It's much easier to edit.

Writing by hand builds character, though! Character that you can't get from a laptop.

I suppose you're right... it would just be nice to be able to worry about the content of the essay rather than whether my writing is legible or not.

It's not the object, to obtain perfection in writing, but to better yourself. Therefore writing by hand will help you to pay a lot more attention to what you're doing, and keep you in the right mind for homework.

I guess you're right. But sometimes at three in the morning when I'm finishing up an essay, I don't really want to be doing homework at all...
