Transit strike in New York...that doesn't sound very festive or christmassy...I can only imagine all the chaos going on. More news about it on New York Daily News site.

I am very grateful that I drive to work and that I no longer work in Manhattan...

On the other hand - my driving commute has now doubled/tripled in time...

I hope the strike will be over soon. So many people are suffering from that.

Though I understand that sometimes you have to do extreme things to make a difference...
