Snow Patrol!
Ah yes the concert, it was amazing! I was a bit worried about going to see Snow Patrol, as sometimes you see some bands live and they are just rubbish and therefore you find it hard to listen to them in the same way after...also I wasn't overly impressed with their new album 'Eyes Open' in comparison to 'final straw', but this concert was amazing, they sung so many songs from 'Final Straw' I was very happy :-)! Also though they did about five from the new album, and they played the 3 I like what luck.Chasing Cars was amazing apart from that little bit of feedback they got in the middle, hehe we were apparently the first audience to sing the final verse.
Gary Lightbody looked so much better in real life than in magazines, I think he's lost a little weight...Anyway very impressed with his stage presence, he was quite the rocker at times jumping around with his guitar, also he talked to the audience a lot, and he was funny!
I loved the fact that they played for like 1hr and 40 minutes, is it me or is that a really long set!?
Also they had these really cool video screens behind them on stage, and the cameras were showing different bits of the band and they were showing up behind them, also it went over the crowd which was really cool, didn't see myself on the big screen though :-(, even though we were fairly close to the front in the pit. Started off further back but every chance we got we pushed our way through, hehe and we got a fairly good view at one point I could pretty much see everything without any towering heads in my way!
