Ahh... My First Post In A Century... Or, A Couple Of Weeks.

Wow. I haven't posted in a supertastically long time.

I got back from Gambier Island a couple weeks ago and it was super great. Lots of crazy stuff there. It was really neat; we slept in cabins and the generater went off at 11:00 every night. But if you had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you wouldn't get to wash your hands. Eww. On the second to last night, the moon was ginormous! It was the size of a toonie, when usually it's the size of a dime. It came up from behind the mountains and it reflected on the water so it was really neat. There were a billion crabs under all the rocks and some of them were the size of a thumbtack! They were so cute. We put crab traps in the water and caught some fairly large crabs [the size of an orange, maybe]. We put a little dead fish in there, to attract more crabs and a big catfish came and took a huge chunk out of the fish. I go to hold the catfish. It was so cool!

On the last night we sat out on the helipad by the beach until it got really dark. We did skits and improvs [ahh, how do you spell it?] and it was really neato. I did an improv kinda thing with Preston where you have to try and guess what's going on. I was supposed to be a lady with laryngitis, going to a costume party dressed as a hooker and Preston was a police man. So he stopped me in the streets and I couldn't tell him what was going on 'cause I couldn't talk. It was funny. I was also in another one with Preston and he was trying to buy lawnjerae from me. [I know that's not how you spell lawnjerae but I just sounded it out...] Anyway, we stayed out there and we were gonna go back to brush our teeth and junk before Mr. J told us the story of the hospital [supposedly scary] and the generater wasn't on. Everyone was so freaked and it turns out something vibrated off of it and so they had to shut 'em down to repair it. Candace and I were so freaked out [I'm still afraid of the dark...And of trees. And scary stories.] and we were practically crying. We really didn't want to hear the story so Mr. J said we could stay in the Mess Hall until they were done but we had to go down to the helipad and pick up some junk. So we went down there and on the way down the group of girls started screaming so loud and they were looking into the tall grass to their right. I screamed my friggen lungs out cuz I thought they saw a dead body. Turns out it was a bunch of the boys, trying to scare us. Obviously they succeeded.

Gambier was really fun and I didn't want to leave on the last day. It's such a nice place and being there with my class made it all the better. School's out in five days. Yeesh, why do we have to go back on the Monday? Stupid Mondays.

Well, time to go watch A Chorus Line. It's a musical so it should be good.

Oh yeah I moved. 'Let's just say it moved me...TO A BIGGER HOUSE!'. Seriously though, it is bigger. And nicer. Five acres, waay bigger room and cleaner... everything? Though the water does smell like rotten eggs. Otherwise known as sulfer. The people said it should stop smelling like sulfer pretty soon though, so it's all good.
