(no subject)
So, I guess it's the time where everyone posts about their x-mas'.
Mine wasn't terrible. Hear that? NOT TERRIBLE!! First time in 3 years or so. That was really the best thing about x-mas. Everything worked out. Nothing bad happened to me or my loved ones, and it was relitively calm.
On Christmas Eve, Dad picked Liam and I up and we headed to Brockville. Liam was -really- good all things considered. Liam really wanted to climb the stairs in the house, but that was a no go. There weren't any tantrums, which was awesome.
Christmas day, Liam had managed to get some sleep the night before, so he was ready to go the next morning. He went right for his presents, and everyone elses lol. But he was easily distracted with some of his new toys.
Later, we went to my Aunt Vals for x-mas dinner. Most of my family on the Marshall side was these, and my Nana was thrilled to see Liam. Eveyone was really patient with him. By the end of the night I was beat because I hadn't slept well the night before, for obvious reasons lol.
But the meal was great, as was the company :)
Then we headed home and we both crashed hard.
Liam got some great loot.
Lots of fun books, weird toys and a nice big toy box and a radioflyer tricyle curtosy of Bryn :)
I got alot of great movies and CD's. I got the Courtney Love Diary (yay) and some big spoils I wasn't expecting.
Dad got me a water cooler which was TOTALLY unexpected, but ever so welcome. My medicine has a diuretic in it, so I spend ALOT of money on water lol. So yay! He ALSO got me an acoustic guitar! I was planning on getting one within the new year, so that was a big big big suprise.
I wasn't sure how to react,b ut I think dad understood that I was very grateful.
At mom's, I got some little things including some AWESOME leopard print slippers (which were from Liam lol) and she got me a digital camera. A really good one. 6 mega pixels, and with my memory card, I can record nearly 2 hours of video.
So I had a good x-mas, I still have another little one to do with my step siblings on New Years Day.
New Years Eve (day) Lauren is taking me to see Aladin at the NAC which is so nice of her. I'm really excited! More because I get to see Lauren because we don't spend alot of time together anymore.
