the limbs remain!

Today I went wake boarding for the first time with 2 kids from new brunsick, a kid from nova scotia and 3 coordinators. I didn`t do very well, and ended up with a horrible splotchy sun burn, but I love it for all it`s worth. It was a good day. We also went and ate at an outside mexican resturant, which had the worst food but was filled with mexican children and people that were completely cracked out. Then we went and played some dodgeball in the water with a football and now I`m here, back at my coordinators house just as akward as ever.
Hmmm.. what else has happened. Okay, I can`t give dates anymore because it all blurs together. Well I did recieve a care package from my parents early this morning with a walkman, some picture of the house and of fisha cellas formula one car, so i can draw then for my mom and dad... since i figure that would be a fabulous use of my time. And water shoes... to prevent any further incidents as well as some fruit to go bars and $20 for me to go and buy some food to keep in my room since I`m wasting away with the non existant food in my household.
There was a big spell happening in ontario about me being left alone in my house for 2 days. My host mom and her daughter decided to go camping and just left... and apparently we`re not allowed to be left alone. Which kid of makes sense... i just never thought of it as a big deal. I was on the phone for hours with everyone about it. In fact, I`m pretty sure Louis-André yelled at my host mom about it this morning when he picked me up, because they were giving some horrible looks and he was using my name. I`m not to concerned. Actually I find myself not concerned with anything here.. I mean.. I dont even feel out of territory with everyone I`m with or meet.
I went over to Janessas and we went to get ice cream. It started raining horribly right by the time we got into the ice cream store. I got some fabulous sort of chocolate ice cream and strawberry cheesecake on a cone, and she ended up with a orange milkshake that tasted like cheese. Everything tastes like cheese in Quebec. Janessa is horribly afraid of the rain, and she was having some sort of attack. The only thing shes more afraid of than rain is being alone. I love the rain. So I started running back home and she of course followed. She eventually eased up, and we took the time to jump in every puddle and let big truicks give us shower from the lake size puddles by the sewers. This experience made me feel very innocent... and.. clensed. Despite it being dirty street water... but you get the idea that I`m getting at. It suddenly turned into some kind of action movie.. an 80 year old man, who wasnt wearing pants, cut us off and stop and insisted in french that we need to get in his car for him to give us a ride home. It took ten minutes for me to convince him that we were just going to walk. When Janessa finally realized he wasnt wearing pants, she just started running.. and the poor old man was very confused. We were running in fear. And just when we thought we were safe, we got cut off again. This time a group of 3 young men in a very small car. One even reached out the window at me when i was trying to tell them that our house was just up a ways and we were fine. I`ve never run so fast in my life. We got home safe though... and her 3 little indian brothers saw me naked. I liked that night.
I get fridays off.. and work about 25 tops a week and get paid for 35.. at 7.60. Much more than subway. Anyways so last thursday me and Janessa went into Jonquiéré to some appartent street party. Musique Plus was video taping something (musique plus is the french version of Much Music)It turned out to the the french version of brittany spears>jessica simpson, complete with horrible back up dancers and all. So we went to a bar, got really drunk and just danced in a street full of people who werent moving. and old lady beside me, decided to dance since i was. It made me feel good about myself. and then we got vip passes into a club. I have to go though.. i`ll contiute at another time.
