This Program Has been the reason that I've stayed with Linux for the last 5 or 6 years and struggled to make things work. It is now becoming a windows program too.
What I like about Bibletime:
. the hover function of the MAG. This feature (once you set it up by downloading the King James English bible, Strong's Greek and Strongs Hebrew Lexicons) allows you to see the source word used in the translation. You can add other tagged Bibles (Leningrad Codex-LXX for example) to see the word order as well. It helps greatly when struggling with difficult passages to have the translation + definition right there by pointing.
. the multiple column displays. This feature allows you to have multiple Bibles and/or commentaries open in one window and shows you the text of each version. When you change verse, the window changes the verse for all bibles displayed. This is very handy (essential to me) in understanding what the verse means.
. Number of bibles available (I've got ~60 english versions), Tagalog, cebuano, some ~100 other languages available or in the works
. ability to link the commentary window to the active bible window. This feature allows to read passages and have comments pop up as you read through. It is important to click thru each verse in this case, because the commentary window only links to 1 verse.
