urgh something pissed me off no end today, i was on the bus and a small girl was reading a book outloud to her mother, which i thought was quite sweet. but everytime she got something wrong the mother of the child in question started screaming and shouting at her rather than encouraging her to get it right.it just made me angry. because as far as small children go this one seemed fairly sweet. i just had the feeling that for her this was just the start of a long journey downhill...now illiteracy next stop drugs, drinking at busstops and teenage pregnancy....seriously...how can a mother do that to her child.
