Hammer out justice.

Haven't posted in a little while... maybe you noticed : ).

Wii is still cool, Zelda is fun, but haven't played it in a couple of weeks. Coincidentally, about the same amount of time we've had Super Paper Mario. Which is much fun, even when I'm just watching jadziadaxwb play. She just got the dude that lets you hit things with a hammer, and has been smacking the shit out of the ground, random blocks, and the occasional bad guy.

We got Wii Play, which is only two playes, kind of a let down after Wii Sports. However, the mini games are pretty fun. Probably not as much if you don't have someone to play with, though. It also comes with a Wii-mote, so factor that into your buying decision.

I have also been playing some Civ IV lately. Lots of fun. The first time I played (a year or two ago) was on the easiest difficulty, and I handily spanked the computer. I figured from that experience that I could crank it up a notch to the 5th or 6th difficulty (out of 7). Yeah, that didn't work out too well. I started a new game a couple of days ago on the middle-most difficulty, where you don't have any advantages, and the AI doesn't have any advantages, either. So far its going okay. I'm not light-years ahead of the computer, like I was on the easy difficulty (which is nice. dominating the world is no fun when you're competition is crap), but I'm not overwhelmed by barbarians and opportunistic AI's.
