So I'm not much of a moviegoer… I also don't really listen to music, I'm a pretty strange person ha ha. However, there's been a lot of exciting movies coming out in fandoms I truly enjoy.
You all have already dealt with my constant flailing about Fantastic Beasts and my newest ship but I'm also so excited for Rogue One coming out next month. I had initially planned to see the midnight showing as I did for Fantastic Beasts and I even had an alarm set and was by my computer at midnight the second tickets went on sale. However, not only were theaters selling out like mad, but any of the decent showtimes were for only for 3-D showings which my poor eyes and head cannot handle.
Initially I purchased a 10:30 showing the night before in a theater with assigned seatings but not nice seats. After I bought the tickets I jumped on yelp just to see what the theater was like and it was months and months of one star reviews. There are even photos of the crammed seats that had very suspicious stains on them. I decided then and there that I'd rather wait a few days, even though it pains me to not see the movie right away because that's really part of the experience.
Instead I got tickets for the following Monday when Forrest and I were both off of work together to see a showing at the theater we like with the comfy recliner seats.
Who else is excited about the movie? Are you going on opening weekend or waiting until some of the hype dies down?
Also I finally got around to seeing Gilmore girls…
Overall I liked it and I thought it did great justice to my favorite character Emily. I was of course upset about how the Logan and Rory storyline turned out because I like Logan so much but this series once again proved how shitty of a person Rory and her mother Lorelai are. I mean I love the show but honestly it was wild to me throughout all the seasons how terrible of a person both main characters are. Maybe I’m being harsh but they just weren’t likeable characters to me.
How did you guys feel about the revival? Do you think there will be more? And how about that ending?
