I hope everyone had a lovely Halloween for those who ~celebrated~
hp_halloween posted yesterday and while I am still swimming through the wonderful ocean of all the lovely drabbles that posted, I thought I would share the gift I wrote and the gift I received.
lee_bella wrote me,
A Season's Ending this haunting Draco/Harry with a side pairing of Albus/Scorpius. So beautiful and mesmerizing.
And I wrote
lee_bella a Draco/Albus drabble,
The Light That Beckons using her prompt of will-o'-the-wisp. Feel free to check it out if you like! ;]
Speaking of fests, I still have five or six
hd_fan_fair fics to read and then I will have conquered the fest. I hate falling behind on things like this but my health (and eye doctor) has been urging me to take a break from computers. Damn!
But how could I stay away when
hp_nextgenfest just started posting!? Already one of my prompts has been filled with this lovely
Albus/Scorpius art!
I remember when claiming first went up I was so sad because no one had claimed any of my prompts but when I just checked again there are two whole other prompts that have been claimed for fictions! I can hardly wait!
Anyway, my Halloween was super low key and I had a wonderful time! I worked over the weekend and did some fun makeup for work on Friday and Saturday. Monday, Forrest and I dressed up and went to an amazing vegan doughnut shop to treat ourselves. After the journey and gorging ourselves in the park we decided to head back home with the potential to go to our local bar later.... we never made it out again, haha.
We basically curled up under the covers, watched ~spooky~ movies and ate lots of candy. It was pretty amazing, not gonna lie!
Anyway,
My gothic doll makeup look for work on Friday.
My futuristic android look for work on Saturday.
And then on Halloween proper I was a deer!
Forrest kept it simple and was Bob from Bob's Burgers.
And last but not least, the incredible doughnuts!!
How was your Halloween? Did you dress up, eat lots of candy, go out?
