New Icons, Star Wars, and more!
Firstly I want to offer a belated huge thank you to digthewriter for creating three new amazing icons for my livejournal (one of them being featured above). I won a gift of my choice by being chosen in her drabble/art raffle that took place last month. I won for my drabble submission inspired by the James/Scorpius artwork but also be sure to check out her artwork and resulting drabbles for Pansy/ Ginny, Charlie/Sirius, and Neville/Charlie
Also, finally got around to see the new Star Wars movie! I hadn't planned on seeing it as I have only watched the first Star Wars movie (and only in pieces) and never really felt much for the enterprise but heard it was amazing even as a stand alone movie. I really loved it, to the point where I might go ahead and watch all three of the first movies (I will in fact be skipping the prequels). As much as I want to ship Poe/Finn all I can hope for is that they have Finn remain asexual and not have him paired with Rey. Why do these big movies need to fall back on romance sub-plots anyway? I'm sure many of you Star War fans may have already seen this silly ms-paint comic made about Poe and Finn's bro-like friendship but I found it super funny so I shall post it below.
