I finally got a new car!! Its super. Its a 1992 Honda Prelude, and its red, and looks really good on the outside and inside. I paid $4,000 for it and it has 124k miles on it. Millage kinda sucks, but what can you expect from a 92. It drives real nice, and its automatic, and has power everything which is a VERY nice change. It also has a working sliding sunroof! We did a VIN report on it and it has no accident reports, just has had 4 previous owners. The guy was selling it for $4,600 but Colin talked him down a little bit. The guy was getting married and needed money for his wedding. It was just parked on the side of the road with a few other trucks on 290, so I was like "pull over!" and we called the guy and he let us test drive it and it handles real well. Its a nice change from my truck. We're gonna get it tuned up soon to make sure nothing major is wrong with it. I drove it to downtown Greenville tonight and it handles nicely on the interstate. Nice pickup. Its my dream car, so I'm very pleased with it. I'm just glad I got something I'll actually enjoy driving now. Woot. But yes. I just wanted to tell everyone that I'm now sporting a red 1992 Prelude instead of a blue 1994 S10. My mom still wants to keep the truck for little things, like moving furniture and taking my dog for walks. And i guess if any of the cars break down. I hope mine doesn't, but it has a little water leak, which Colin thinks is from the radiator hose, so I need to get that checked out ASAP.
I started school on Thursday. Its not bad, got some cool people in my classes. My pop culture teacher is a guy and we all sit on couches and Friday is gonna be "movie night" so heck yes. Psych. statistics might be a little rough, my teacher is some old lady that came back from retirement and is kind of odd...I got Derrick in my Developmental psych. class and we joke around in the back row, our teacher seems very conservative...and Religion seems cool. My teacher is very laid back and I don't think the tests will be too hard. I'm still gonna work at Blockbuster around 20-25 hours. Jason has me down for 26 hours next week, which is still a lot, but it shouldn't be too bad cause they are only 4-8 hour shifts from like 4-8 and 5-10, except Monday night I gotta work 5-CL which I might ask Kalilah if she wants to switch shifts with me on that one. I go in at 10 tomorrow, blah! Oh well. I get out at 5 so I have the rest of the day to do whatever. I need to watch my Six Feet Under episodes and Laws of Attraction soon.
Thursday was also Colin's b-day and our 2 month "anniversary" It went well. I got him a waffle maker and a gift card from Barnes and Nobles. His parents took us out to eat in G-ville, and we had a good time. His mom sprained her ankle though while leaving the restaurant :( We're gonna make waffles one of these days when we actually wake up in the morning...
But yes. I just wanted to update on my life and tell all about my new car which rocks.
