Hrm. Not too much to say really. I just felt like writing in my LJ.
My Christmas was great, along with New Years.
I got the new Tori Amos Hits CD. I'm starting to get Jessica into her now.
I got a new 5-Disc changer stereo system. Its so cute and sounds great. We had to go all the way to Asheville to get it cause all the other Best Buy's were out of it.
New Years Eve just consisted of Me, Jessica, Lori, and Scott drinking some Bacardi Raz, talking, watching Sex and the City, and driving around at night.
The only bad thing now is I'm out of a job.
Larry was all "you're a good cashier, you're good with the customers and co-workers, but you just don't sell enough PRP's and magazine subscriptions for us to keep you after the season is over"
Then he said to check back in the Spring cause they might re-hire me.
I thought all we had to do was offer it, but apparently you had to shove it down their throats until they gave in to the stupid replacement plans.
Oh well. I just got a very nice check from Best Buy, and I'll get one more in 2 weeks, so I'm well off until I decide to get back in the working groove.
I got some new speakers for my truck, so now I have a little bit of bass and it just sounds a lot better, considering the ones I had were 10 years old.
I'll miss the good discount I got on things.
So I've just been staying up late and sleeping in and hanging out with my usual group of friends.
I'm having fun.
I go back to school on the 12th. I went and got all my books and paid my tuition yesterday.
I'm ready to start back. I need some more things to do during the day now that I don't work anymore.
The new Real World starts tonight.
I have a feeling I won't like it as much as Paris or New Orleans though.
As long as its not like Las Vegas, I hated that season.
I bought three books from B. Dalton today: Girl Walking Backwards, Mrs. Dalloway, and I Wish Someone Were Waiting for Me Somewhere.
Everything was 40% off, so I decided to spend my money on books instead of CD's or clothes.
