X had just gotten back to his quarters after finishing a last bit of paperwork for the evening. He shrugged out of his uniform jacket and draped it over the back of a chair before heading into the kitchen to grab a bottle of iced tea from the fridge.
He wasn't expecting any calls, so he was a little surprised when his computer chimed with a received signal. Since he was home, he routed most of his calls through his computer rather than his internal comm system. So he headed over to the computer terminal at his desk and slid into the chair before activating the comm program to see who was calling.
X was pleasantly surprised to see the identifier code was Aya's. He activated the comm channel. If she was using the video comm program on the data pad he'd given her, then she'd be able to see and hear him in a little video window.
